About Us

Archbishop Jebaraj, in 1971, with a significant divine revelation, firmly stated that the Tirunelveli Diocese of the Indian Mission Society should not settle for its current growth and happiness. He further urged the Tirunelveli Diocese to embark on a mission of fervent evangelism through the biblical verse from Isaiah 54:2: 'Enlarge the place of your tent, let the curtains of your dwellings be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.'

We firmly believe that this vision is the blueprint for our collective future. By actively preparing our communities and empowering every single individual, we are constructing a profound legacy of faith.

Through tireless efforts, education, and spiritual guidance, our society continues to manifest these ideals into tangible realities across numerous territories.

The Church Responds to the Call

The members of the church wholeheartedly accepted the archbishop's call as a divine summons. As a result: Each congregation established mission stations in areas of North Tirunelveli where the name of Jesus was unknown. Each church council initiated outreach in parts of North Tamil Nadu where the kingdom of Christ had not yet taken root.
